Terms of Service

These terms govern the NexGuard Founding Beta. They describe what the platform does today, not what it may do later.

What NexGuard provides

NexGuard prepares safety professionals for the CHST, ASP, and CSP certifications. It scores a free readiness check, delivers a one-hundred question diagnostic to enrolled members, and builds a study plan from the answers a member actually gives. It is a preparation service. It is not the certifying body, it is not affiliated with the Board of Certified Safety Professionals, and it does not issue, administer, or influence any certification.

No guarantee of a passing result

Readiness scores, diagnostic reports, and forecasts describe performance on NexGuard material. They are an informed estimate and nothing more. NexGuard does not promise that a member will pass any examination.

Not safety advice for a live workplace

Study material, observation analysis, and Work Instructor output are prepared for exam preparation and professional reflection. They are not a substitute for a qualified assessment of a real site, and no output should be treated as a compliance determination. Responsibility for decisions taken on a job site remains with the employer and the professionals present.

Founding Beta status

The Founding Beta serves a governed question bank that is smaller than the final planned inventory: sixty active readiness questions and one hundred active diagnostic questions per certification track. Every one of those questions has passed the full validation standard. Content continues to be added after launch. Features may change, and a member is told in the product when something is unavailable rather than being shown an approximation of it.

Accounts

An account belongs to one person. Credentials must not be shared, and NexGuard may suspend an account used by more than one individual. A member is responsible for the accuracy of the information on their profile and for keeping their password private.

Payment and access

Access to a certification track begins when payment for that track is confirmed and ends when the subscription ends. During the beta, payment may be made by a manual claim, which a NexGuard operator reviews before access is granted. A claim that cannot be matched to a received payment is declined, and the reason is recorded. Access to one track never grants access to another.

Content ownership

Questions, rationales, and study material remain the property of NexGuard and may not be copied, resold, or republished. Observations, documents, and notes a member uploads remain the property of that member; NexGuard stores and processes them to provide the service.

Ending an account

A member may end a subscription at any time. Records required for audit and financial history are retained as described in the privacy and data handling statement.
